Social Enterprises

At UCP Seguin, our Social Enterprises demonstrate that businesses can be powerful engines for both economic opportunity and community impact. By combining high-quality products and services with meaningful employment opportunities, these mission-driven enterprises help people with disabilities build skills, gain work experience, earn income, and achieve greater independence. Every purchase, partnership, and customer interaction supports our mission of creating life without limits while strengthening the communities we serve.

Our Social Enterprises include:

  • Seguin Gardens & Gifts: A vibrant retail destination offering seasonal plants, flowers, gifts, home décor, and gardening products. Through hands-on experience in retail operations, customer service, merchandising, and inventory management, individuals with disabilities gain valuable job skills, confidence, and meaningful employment opportunities.
  • Empowering Gardens: A community-focused garden center that brings people together through gardening, education, and shared experiences. By creating inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, Empowering Gardens helps participants develop workplace skills, build independence, and contribute to a welcoming space that promotes community engagement, environmental stewardship, and the enjoyment of gardening.

Together, these enterprises create a win-win for everyone involved. Customers receive quality products and services, communities benefit from welcoming local businesses, and people with disabilities gain meaningful employment, practical job skills, and pathways to greater independence. Every purchase helps advance UCP Seguin's mission while demonstrating the value of an inclusive workforce and the positive impact businesses can have on the communities they serve.
