Weekend Respite Care – Respite House
A unique solution in the Chicago area, Respite House is a wheelchair-accessible home in west suburban Bellwood. Families can send their loved ones with disabilities for a weekend of care, comfort, and community.
Respite House Offers:

- Bedrooms with TVs
- Specialized care for adults with autism
- Access to behavioral and medical professionals
- Social, recreational, and community-based activities
In-Home Respite Services
UCP Seguin also provides in-home respite care, helping individuals with disabilities build skills for greater independence while giving caregivers a much-needed break.
In-Home Services Include:
- Trained staff for direct care and supervision
- Staff-led social and recreational activities
- Life skills training: cooking, budgeting, shopping, and more
