UCP Seguin has been monitoring the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, and has already taken steps to address the safety and well-being of the people with disabilities we serve, their families, our employees, our foster parents, and the public with whom they come in contact. We are now implementing further steps and protocols to keep everyone safe.

UCP Seguin is carefully preparing to re-open our Community Day Services under the State plan to "reinvent and restore". We have been working closely with the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities to create a safe plan to reopen Community Day Services. Our focus remains on keeping our staff, foster parents, and the children and adults we serve safe, healthy, and informed. This plan will be reevaluated as conditions continue to evolve. We thank you for your support during this unprecedented time.

Raise some dough for UCP Seguin by ordering carry-out or delivery from Home Run Inn Berwyn on Darien on Monday, August 24th. Download the event flier HERE to create life without limits for children and adults with disabilities by eating pizza!
As UCP Seguin prepares to reopen our Community Day Services, we find ourselves in need of more face masks. In order to keep our staff, foster parents, and participants safe we require additional face coverings for our soon-to be-reopened sites and in our residential and foster homes.
If you have a supply of disposable or cloth masks you would like to donate, or if you would like to make a contribution towards the purchase of masks, please contact us at email@example.com.
Can you welcome a child who is medically fragile or has developmental disabilities into your home? Click HERE for more information about becoming a UCP Seguin Foster Parent.
Don’t let legislators forget about people with disabilities!
Legislators have formed Working Groups to prioritize pending legislation while also dealing with a pandemic-sized hole in the state budget. Tell Working Group members to keep people with disabilities, the caregivers who support them and the providers who employ them in mind as they get back to work on a very tight state budget.
