UCP Seguin’s Annual Foster Parent Appreciation Luncheon was cancelled due to COVId-19. Raffle part of the luncheon was not cancelled at foster parent’s request, and cash winners were announced via Monthly Newsletters. In addition to the raffle, a beautiful and heartwarming video capturing program’s youth and their foster parent/s during quarantine was presented during May’s Training. Patrice Vining, VP of Children’s Program wrote: “It is a reflection of the work we all do on a daily basis with our families. Foster Parents, Youth in Care, and you all are resilient. We have adjusted well to our new normal, even though I do miss us being together. Keep doing a great job everyone!” Patrice Vining/VP CFC.
