Designing and Implementing Technology-Based Interventions for Adults with Developmental Disabilities
Affordable devices such as tablets and smartphones are commonplace in the lives of many people. Researchers in the field of developmental disabilities have amassed a body of literature demonstrating the effectiveness of using such technology to teach a wide variety of skills in diverse settings. This workshop will offer a review of the literature on technology-based interventions and suggestions for designing and implementing interventions in community and vocational settings.
