Celebrate the lives of people with disabilities at the ReelAbilities Chicago Disabilities Film Festival in Oak Park. Explore film, art and performance April 25-29 that will open your mind and heart.

Never before presented in Chicagoland, ReelAbilities Chicago Disabilities Film Festival features award-winning films, thoughtful panel discussions, art gallery works and live musical performances that bring together the community to celebrate the lives of people with disabilities.

FILM: “Snow Cake”, drama with Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman & Carrie-Anne Moss
AUDIENCE: "Snow Cake" is recommended for ages 17 and older.
STORY: Alex, an ex-convict on a road trip picks up Vivienne, an eccentric hitchhiker. A serious car accident kills Vivienne, prompting Alex to visit Vivienne’s mother, a woman with high-functioning autism. Alex learns about her uniqueness as he struggles to come to terms with his own grief.
DETAILS: Parking is available at parking meters along Lake Street or in the parking garages located on Holley Court and Forest Avenue. Lake Theater features accesible entry and seating.
