UCP Seguin Honors Congressman Danny K. Davis with The Davis House

On June 17th, UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago proudly celebrated the dedication of The Davis House in Westchester, honoring Congressman Danny K. Davis for his longstanding commitment to expanding affordable housing and championing opportunities for people with disabilities.

The Davis House—made possible through grant funding secured by Congressman Davis—will provide a safe, supportive home for six adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, fostering independence, connection, and a true sense of community.

Despite rainy weather that moved the event indoors, the day remained a meaningful and joyful celebration. Special thanks to the team at Berkeley for graciously pivoting and hosting the event, ensuring the occasion could be shared with all who gathered to mark this milestone.

We are deeply grateful to Congressman Davis for his dedication, compassion, and partnership in helping create a life without limits for those we serve.
