Residential Service Administrator
DESCRIPTION
Ensures the provision of management leadership presence directly to staff and programs in an assigned home, ensuring the successful ongoing operation in a manner appropriate to the needs and choices of persons served and their service plan goals and related program methodologies, to maximize growth in independent living skills and community integration and in accordance with all applicable UCP Seguin, Federal and State rules and regulations as well as accreditation standards governing services.
Selects and supervises (orients, trains, schedules, evaluates, commends, disciplines and directs activities) assigned direct subordinate staff and ensures same for all staff supervised by direct report(s), utilizing measurable performance evaluation criteria for staff growth and ensuring that performance standards necessary to meet the needs of persons served are achieved, in a manner consistent with the mission, objectives, policies and standards of the Agency, and all the applicable state and federal laws and regulations governing participant care and the workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree or equivalent in combination of education and experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting. Minimum of 21 years of age. Minimum of one year of professional experience and one year of supervisory experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred. Valid Illinois Driver’s License. Certificate of Proof of Insurance and maintenance of such at minimum amount of coverage required by law.
WORK SCHEDULE
Workweek includes a combination of weekday and weekend / day time and evening work days with scheduling flexibility to work variable hours, including overnight shifts, as needed to carry out duties and responsibilities effectively, including two assigned days of direct care responsibilities, carries Agency pager at all times to maintain on-call availability as needed to ensure appropriate response to emergencies / crises of persons served or as necessary for effective service provision.
SALARY RANGE: $45,000 - $50,000
