Life Skills Coordinator - La Grange
DESCRIPTION:
This position ensures the planning, coordination, facilitation, monitoring and effective daily operation of Life Skills/Community Connection program, activities and services over assigned realm of supervision.
· Develop and coordinate volunteer opportunities.
· Ensure new vocational and community resource options for functional and vocational activities and services are continually sought and researched appropriate to the achievement of desired outcomes consistent with the changing needs and choices of persons served, and which promote greater productivity, independence and vocational and community integrated opportunities.
· Provide leadership, development and coordination of Life Skills / Community Connections programs.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Social Work or other human resources field preferred. Minimum high school diploma; Valid Driver's License Minimum of one year successful related work experience with persons with developmental disabilities and one year of professional level work experience in social service field.
Salary Range: $45,240 - $48,240
