Level II Behavior Analyst
DESCRIPTION
To provide effective development, maintenance and provision of behavior plans and services to program participants, ensuring that behavior programs effectively promote the health, safety, personal growth and community integration of participants served, in compliance with regulations, policies, procedures and standards set by the Agency and the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS); and in a manner that meets the particular physical, social, emotional needs of participants served and maximizes cross-team collaboration, cooperation and service integration across work unit, department and organizational boundaries
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s of Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis degree from an accredited school or an equivalent Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited school preferred. Either completing classes toward a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a certificate to become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Minimum of one year of professional work experience in a clinical setting with children/adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, of which includes a minimum of 1500 hours of experience in behavior analysis supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Valid Illinois Driver's License. Certificate of Proof of Auto Insurance and maintenance of such at minimum amount of coverage required by law. Certificate of status as BCaBA or continued progress toward certification as a BCBA. Possess or acquire within first 30 days of employment, Safety Care Specialist training, updating as required, and approval to bill 56U funding as a Level 2 Provider through DHS.
WORK SCHEDULE
Primarily, four work days during the week for eight to 10 hours per day during business/program hours, with scheduling flexibility to work variable hours as needed to effectively carry out duties and responsibilities. Acts as primary or secondary response to behavioral crisis situations.
The Level 2 Behavior Analyst position is a great opportunity for future BCBAs. Our BCBA Administrators provide free supervision hours for fieldwork students.
