Community Employment Manager

DESCRIPTION
Functions as Q.M.R.P. for assigned caseload of clients, acting as leader of the Interdisciplinary Team;  supervises, trains, leads and assists Employment Training Specialists assigned to client caseload; ensures all client needs are identified and addressed programmatically as recommended by the interdisciplinary team and ensures the follow-up as needed, ensures and coordinates the implementation of client service plans; identify and recruit prospective, appropriate community employers and evaluate client placement and employability potential for appropriate job match, ensuring effective client vocational services and employer satisfaction; performs work site analyses and assists the Community Employment Administrator in the development of bid proposals.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP): Provide support & comfort to people with developmental and other disabilities, assisting them to lead self-directed lives, achieve their personal goals and contribute to their community; and encourage attitudes and behaviors that enhance inclusion in their communities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in social services or related field. Minimum of one year of successful work experience with persons with developmental disabilities, preferably in vocational or rehabilitation training. Illinois Drivers License required. Must have and use own automobile with current insurance.

STARTING SALARY: $41,680

Additional compensation for experience & Education:

  • 4+ Years Fulltime related + $1,000
  • 4+ Years Full-time Professional  $2,000
  • Master's Degree + $2,000
