In Home Family Therapist

DESCRIPTION

Therapist provides trauma informed individual and family therapy, in office and/or in the community, to youth in foster care. The position also includes providing therapy to biological parents with children in care. The therapist position includes effectively interacting and collaborating with team members, including foster parents, case managers, and behavior specialists. The therapist completes all required documentation, including mental health assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and quarterly progress reports. Team meeting attendance required. Weekly peer supervision and individual supervision are provided. The therapist position allows for some scheduling flexibility and requires an individual who is self-driven, organized, an effective communicator both verbally and in writing, and disciplined. Travel between various locations is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum education: Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or equivalent in Human Service. Provision of excellent therapy at the forefront of the role with clear application of training at the advanced level. At least three years of therapy work experience with children and/or people with developmental disabilities preferred, including provision of family therapy.

WORK SCHEDULE
Primarily, Monday through Friday during regular business/program hours with scheduling flexibility to work variable hours as needed

SALARY RANGE: $54,000 - $57,000
