Child Care Manager
Functions as supervisor; trains, leads, and assist client support staff within program realms, coordinating service plan implementation, ensures all client needs are identified, addressed and met programmatically as recommended by the interdisciplinary team and ensures all necessary follow‑up is carried out; works effectively with Foster Parents providing supervision to staff within the realms of the Foster Home; ensuring the effective development, maintenance and provisional Foster Care Services.
Interviews, hires, trains, supervises, evaluates and coordinates the activities of assigned Child Care Specialists in the performance of assigned tasks and responsibilities, examining outcome against stated criteria, communicating assessment results with staff using formal and informal methods; ensures appropriate staffing, I.S.P. and Service Plan implementation.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Service Field preferred. Minimum of 21 years of age. Minimum of one year successful work experience in Social Services preferred; supervisory experience preferred. Valid Illinois Driver's License; Certificate of Proof of Insurance and maintenance of such at minimum amount of coverage required by law. Possess or acquire within first year of employment, first aid, C.P.R., updating as required by licensing agency.
SALARY RATE: $37,430 - $45,000
