Residential Healthcare Specialist - Bilingual
DESCRIPTION
*Schedule and attend all medical appointments, surgeries, pre- scheduled treatments, follow ups, etc. for Adult CILA participants as required by DHS.
*Ensure that all medical documentation is completed for all appointments and immediately scanned in to electronic file and forwarded to a member of the Adult Nursing Department, relay all information (via email) to the designated team members.
*Assist with indoor clinics as needed
*Create Excel Spreadsheet with monthly appointments to be turned in to Medical Assistant Administrator on a monthly basis.
Work week is generally Monday-Friday with flexibility for early morning and later evening appointments.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma. Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Computer literacy, (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft, ability to learn way around computer). Requires basic medical terminology. The ability to organize and prioritize is a must. Must be able to read, write, comprehend and relay all medical directions given. Valid Illinois Drivers License, Proof of Valid Insurance and Operable Vehicle.
STARTING RATE: $15
Additional compensation for experience & Education:
- 2-3 Years fulltime related + $0.25
- 4+ Years fulltime related + $0.50
- Associates or 48+ college credit hours + $0.25
- Bachelors Degree + $0.50
- Bilingual Spanish + $1
