Night Specialist

DESCRIPTION

Provide supportive assistance, personal care & training to consumers in their daily living activities, in accordance with the goals & requirements prescribed in each consumers I.S.P. and in a manner that facilitates cross-team collaboration, cooperation and service integration across work unit, department and organizational boundaries.  Monitor and supervise consumers during their sleep time, remaining awake and alert throughout the entirety of the overnight shift and making appropriate interventions and consumer checks as stipulated and as needed to ensure their safety and well being.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP):

Provide support & comfort to people with developmental and other disabilities, assisting them to lead self-directed lives, achieve their personal goals and contribute to their community; and encourage attitudes and behaviors that enhance inclusion in their communities.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED. Six months successful work/volunteer experience with persons with developmental disabilities preferred  Valid drivers license with proof of vehicle insurance.

WORK SCHEDULE: Primarily 11p-7a

PAY RANGE: $15 - $16
