Adult Registered Nurse
DESCRIPTION
Monitor resident's health status, implement and monitor resident's
self-administration of medication program and other treatments
as prescribed by physician(s); provide personal medical care and training to residents.
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP): Provide support and comfort to people with developmental and other disabilities, assisting them to lead self-directed lives, achieve their personal goals and contribute to the community, and encourage attitudes and behaviors and that enhance inclusion in their communities.
QUALIFICATIONS
R.N. degree. Minimum of 21 years of age. Preferably have two years successful Medical work experience with developmental disabilities. Must have DHS Nurse Trainer certification or eligible to become a Nurse Trainer.
On-call availability as needed to ensure timely and appropriate response to emergencies/crises of persons served. Valid Illinois Driver's License.
