X-WR-CALDESC:In addition to our client-facing work\, behavior analysts are
tasked with training and supervising others in the implementation of behav
ior analytic programming\, including\, but not limited to\, individuals al
ready credentialed by the BACB® (i.e.\, BCaBAs and RBTs) as well as those
pursuing BACB® certification (i.e.\, trainees accruing fieldwork hours). T
he BACB® has increasingly emphasized the importance of supervision and tra
ining\, such as through specific professional development requirements of
supervisors and\, most recently\, by requiring dedicated course content in
supervision and training for future BACB® certificants. In this workshop\
, participants will learn how to assess performance deficits\, design beha
vior-analytic training programs\, and supervise in accordance with our eth
ical guidelines and recent research on best practices. Additionally\, part
icipants will learn how to self-assess their competence as a supervisor an
d their capacity to provide supervision in accordance with relevant regula
tory guidelines. This training program is based on the BACB® Supervisor Tr
aining Curriculum Outline (2.0) but is offered independent of the BACB®.
